

William "Billy" Edward Bilow, Jr., 62, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Pine Pointe Hospice. Funeral services will be held at 2P.M., Friday, September 23, 2011 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Steve Johnson will officiate. The family will meet friends from 1:00 P.M. to service time on Friday at the funeral home. While flowers are accepted, memorial contributions may be made to Ronald McDonald House, 1160 Forsyth Street, Macon 31201.
Mr. Bilow, son of the late William Edward Bilow, Sr. and Patsy Jones Bilow, was a lifelong resident of Macon. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Mike Bilow and Butchie Bilow. Mr. Bilow attended Lanier High School and played for the Lanier Poets and was on the ROTC Team. He was the manager retired from Wacter Metal. Mr. Bilow loved and cherished his family and was happiest spending time with them.

He is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Brenda C. Bilow of Macon; his daughter, Sandy (Brien) Birdsong of Macon; his son, Shannon (Tammy) Bilow of Macon; four beloved grandchildren, Ridge, Cody, Justin and Cole; two sisters, Susan (Rick) Godfrey of Fort Valley and Sharon (Mike) Mobley of Macon; his brother, Tim (Pam) Bilow of Gray, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
