MACON – William “Billy” Bryant Smallwood, 25, died Tuesday, June 7, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 11:0o AM Friday, June 10, 2011 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Greg Evans will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6 until 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 1160 Forsyth Street, Macon, GA 31201. The family may be contacted at 108 Wakefield Drive, Macon, GA.

Billy was born in Macon and was a graduate of Tattnall Square Academy in the class of 2004. He attended Gainesville State College and was an avid golfer and fisherman. Billy had a passion for music, loved his guitar and the great outdoors. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, William “Joe” Smallwood, maternal grandparents, Johnnie and Bryant Douglas, and step-father, Rick Buford.

Billy is survived by his mother, Wanda D. Smallwood-Buford of Macon; father, Barry (Donna) Smallwood of Macon; his fiancé, Whitney Tucker of Macon; sisters, Holly (Shawn) Reynolds and Kristi Smallwood all of Braselton, GA; paternal grandmother, Mary Smallwood of Macon; nephew, Hudson Reynolds; step-brothers, Chase (Connie) Brown of Montgomery, AL, Richard Buford, Jr. and Kevin (Robin) Buford all of Lebanon, TN; step-sister, Savannah Buford of Hiram, GA; step-niece, Caroline Brown of Montgomery, AL; step-nephews, Landon Buford of Macon, Drake Buford and Tyler Wilson both of Lebanon, TN.
