Bonnie Sue Riggs Jones, 72, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 surrounded by her family. A Celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Pastor Craig Holmes officiating. The family will greet friends on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers those who wish may make a donation to the Gilead Baptist Church, Building Fund, 4800 Ivey Drive, Macon GA 31216 or to a Missionary of their choice.
Bonnie Sue was born in Washington, PA to the late Clarence and Virginia Bell Riggs. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Paula Christine Jones. She was born again on July 7, 1976 and was devoted Christian from that day forward. Bonnie Sue was a member of Gilead Baptist Church and the Adult Sunday School Class.
She was survived by her loving husband, Wilson Jones, son, Edward (wife Vera Lynn) Jones, grandchild, Kyle Christopher Newt Jones (fiancé Shelby Hurd), brother, Edward Reed (wife JoAnn) Riggs, brother-in-law, Charles ( wife Angela) Jones and mother-in-law, Christdell Jones and several nieces and nephews.
Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
