Bonnie B. Smith

Bonnie B. Smith, 73, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 17, 2015. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Peter Gibson officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Pruitt Health Hospice, 6060 Lakeside Commons Dr., Macon GA 31210 or Highland Hills Baptist, 1370 Briarcliff Road, Macon GA 31211.

Bonnie was born in Macon, GA to the late Robert and Mildred Barnett. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Smith. Bonnie was graduated in 1962 from A.L. Miller High School and graduated from Crandall Business College. She was a member of Highland Hills Baptist Church and worked many years for the Bibb Company and retired from IKON in 2008. Bonnie and Bill were members of the Corvette Club of Middle GA.

She is survived by her son, Brian William Smith of Jones, County, grandson, Layne W. Smith of Jones, County, sister-in-law, Betty S. Cochran of Roberta, cousins, Ronnie (Nell) Brown of Monroe, Brenda Thompson of Deland, FL, niece, Robin C. (Robert) Rushing of Roberta, great nephew, Brad (Angela) Baggett of Roberta, great nieces, Brandi B. (James) Smith of Douglas and Betti B.(Kamron) Monroe of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, three great great nieces, and three great great nephews, as well as numerous cousins, and very special friends, Randy and Kathy Candler of Macon and Margie Homan of Gray, GA.
