Macon, GA – Charles Douglas Hudson, Jr., age 65, passed away at his residence on July 4, 2010. Memorial services will be held at Heritage at Bass United Methodist Church on Vineville Avenue, Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Flowers will be accepted, but those who wish may make memorial contributions to Hospice of Central Georgia, 3780 Eisenhower Pkwy, Macon, GA 31206.
Mr. Hudson was born in 1945 to the late Charles Douglas Hudson, Sr. and Willie Elizabeth Smith Hudson. He was retired from Lowe Electric Supply after 42 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian Shepard Hudson of Macon; two children, Doug Hudson Harrison and April (Michael) Hudson Hollingsworth, both of Gray; five grandchildren, Macy, Kala, Logan, D.J. and Mallory; three sisters, Joan Brown, Sandra Davidson, and Jenny King, as well as several nieces and nephews.
