Christine McGee Floyd, 73, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2013 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 7, 2013 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park with the Rev. Steve Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends Wednesday, February 6, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Floyd was born in Macon to the late Buford Horne McGee and Samuel Avery McGee, Sr. She was a retired bookkeeper. Mrs. Floyd was preceded in death by her brother, Samuel “Bubba” McGee, Jr.
Mrs. Floyd is survived by her loving husband: Charles Floyd of Macon, three daughters: Theresa (Buddy) Prosser of Gray, Vicki (Bob) Matthews of McDonough and Anissa (Rob) DeRieux of Forsyth; grandchildren: Brandy (Scott) Norsworthy, Courtney and Trey DeRieux, and Lisa (Doug) Dojan; great-grandchildren: Tyler and Taylor Grace Norsworthy and Brie and Taylor Dojan; sister-in-law: Ann McGee; niece: Cindi (JR) Hopper.
