Douglas Price, 83, went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, October 25, 2015. Graveside services will be held Friday, October 30, 2015 at 3:00pm in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Paul Dziadul officiating. The family will greet friends an hour prior to the service at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Mr. Price was born May 31, 1932 to the late Dennis and Rosa Hughes Price and was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Moran Price; son, Doug Price Jr. “Danny”; and grandson, Brian Pipkin. He was a machine operator for Keebler and a member of Bloomfield United Methodist Church. Mr. Price enjoyed being around people and was an avid fisherman and sports fan, especially rooting for the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Falcons.
Survivors include his daughter, Diane Chamblee; granddaughter, Paige (Stephen) Shadrick; great granddaughter, Olivia Shadrick; and many other loving family members.
