Eutis “Chummy” Beecher, 88, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Thursday, January 6, 2022. A celebration of his life will be held Monday, January 10, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Lizella Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Minton officiating. Burial will follow in Lizella Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 pm until the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lizella Baptist Church, 2950 S Lizella Road, Lizella, 31052.
Eutis was born in Graham, Georgia to the late Les Beecher and Lila Quinn Beecher. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Helen McDaniel Beecher and twelve siblings. He was retired from Armstrong World Industries and he worked for Riverside Ford as a parts salesman for over twenty years. Eutis was a member of Lizella Baptist Church and a former member of Bethesda Baptist Church. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
Survivors include his children, Gregg (Ginger) Beecher and Gina Beecher Harris; and grandchildren, Daniel and Julian Beecher and Ethan and Caroline Harris and numerous nieces and nephews.
