Florence Cavanah Bailey

Florence Cavanah Bailey, age 93, of Juliette, Georgia passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023. A visitation for Florence will be held Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Snow's Funerals and Cremations at Macon Memorial Park, 3969 Mercer University Drive, Macon, Georgia 31204, followed by a Celebration of Life at 3:00 PM. Rev. Chris Minton will officiate. Burial will be private in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Florence's memory may be made to Lizella Baptist Church, 2950 S. Lizella Road, Lizella, Georgia 31052 or to a charity of your choice. The family would like to thank her special caregivers for their years of love to her including, Kim Patterson, LaShunda Cook, Detra Maynard, Avis Felts, and Luevone Adams. Mrs. Bailey was born in Guyton, Georgia the daughter of the late Mamie Anderson Cavanah and Horace Cleveland Cavanah, Sr. and was the widow of John R. Bailey. She was retired from Keebler and was a member of Lizella Baptist Church where she was a member of the Peggy Merritt Sunday School class. Mrs. Bailey is survived by her nieces and nephews, Kathy Merrill (Bob) of Juliette, Jennifer R. Ellison (George) of Swainsboro, DeLaine R. McReynolds (Hack) of Swainsboro, Barbara C. Amerson (Carol) of Chester, Gary Cavanah (Willette) of Swainsboro, Jerry Cavanah (Meleia) of Macon, Bill Cavanah (Angie) of Swainsboro, Harold Cavanah (Debra) of Danville and Frank Cavanah (Lisa) of Cochran; many other extended family.
