

Macon, Georgia- Franklin George Graham, Sr., 80, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Burns officiating. The family will greet friends on Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heartland Hospice, 200 Northside Crossing, Macon, GA 31210.
Mr. Graham was born in Soperton, Georgia to the late John and Lillian Barwick Graham. He was preceded in death by wife, Frances Graham, two infant sons, his brothers, Eschol Graham, Jack Graham, Bobby Graham and Hal Graham and sisters, Joni Stern and Jerri Pierce. He served during the Korean Conflict in the United States Army and was a member of the Methodist faith. Mr. Graham was the owner of Graham Brothers Used Cars, along with his brother Bobby and later Mr. Graham owned Central Radiator and Air. He enjoyed playing golf.
Mr. Graham, a loving husband, father and grandfather is survived by his wife of forty five years, Myrel Burns Graham of Macon, his children, Frank (Donna) Graham, Jr. of Macon, Julie (Jerry) Sorrels of Marietta, and James Foster of Macon, five grandchildren, Chandler Graham of Kennesaw, Graham Sorrels of Marietta, Robby Wells, Kathleen Wells and Alyson Wells of Macon, sister-in-law, Martha (Bobby) Batchelor of Macon, Lavern Graham of Macon, Geisla Graham and Tut Graham both of Milledgeville and brother-in-law, Jerrell (Alice) Burns of Gordon, and several nieces and nephews, special neighbors, Charles and Joyce Preston.
