Frederick “Fred” Walter Foster, Jr., 92, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2019. A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be private with Pastor Paul Dziadul officiating. The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Fred was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Frederick Walter Foster, Sr. and Mary Dalder Foster. He served in the United States Army, during World War II. Fred was retired after thirty two years of service from Sperry Univac and was of the Episcopal faith. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years, Cora L. Foster of Macon, sons; Kenneth (Dolores) Foster of Frisco, TX, Glenn (Theresa) Foster of Glendale, AZ and daughter, Carol (Richard) Cazort of Macon, GA, grandchildren; Karen (Matt) Wright of Rockville, MD, Allan Foster of Glendale, AZ and Kenneth Cazort of Macon, and two great grandchildren.
