Funeral services will be held 11:00 Tuesday, in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Mildred Scholl Rose; son, Kelvin (Shari) Rose Sr.; daughter, Melissa Rose and her fiancé, Philip Ellis; grandson, Kelvin Rose, Jr.; sisters, Mary Ford (Ray) and Joyce Gullett (Arthur); brother, James Rose and several nieces and nephews.
He was a retired machine operator from Brown and Williamson Co. where he worked for more than 30 years.
Mr. Rose served in the U.S. Army having served two tours during the Vietnam War.
He was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather. He also had a passion for collecting antiques, glassware and was an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan.
