Harold Wright

Harold Wright, 79, passed away on June 24, 2014. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at John Wesley Villas @ Foxsworth with the Rev. Mike Ketchum officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 2951 Flowers Road, S. Ste. 211, Atlanta GA 30341.

Mr. Wright was born in Atlanta, GA to the late William H. and Ella Smith Wright. He served in the United States Army and National Guard. Harold was of the Baptist faith and loved the Sunday worship services at John Wesley Villas. He was retired from Operating Engineers, after retirement he worked at the Macon Mall as a security guard. He loved life and was a gentle and kind man, who always had a smile. Harold and his wife moved to the North Georgia Mountains, before moving back to Macon. Harold loved home, family and our little Bichon “BJ”.

He is survived by his wife, Jessica Van Buren Wright of Macon, children; Eddie Van Buren (Debbie), Sherry Conklin (Wake), Gene Wright, Tabitha Kernodle, Jonathan Wright (Crystal), grandchildren; Todd Van Buren (Cindy), Minka Fulton (Mike), Stephanie Blackwell (Tim), Jarad Padgett (Christina), Landon Padgett (Tony Shiver), Joshua Wright, Jeremy Wright, Felicia Wright, Alexa Kernodle, Bryce Kernodle, great grandchildren; Cory Blackwell, Collin Blackwell, Lauren Fulton, and Kristina Wright
