A Celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Paul Dziadul officiating. The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon GA 31201 or donor’s favorite charity.
Harry was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Harry E. Bell Sr., and Bessie Hinson Bell. He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Bell, Sr. Harry was a 1961 graduate of Lanier High School in Macon, and was an insurance salesman for many years. Harry worked for DFACS as a Social Worker. Some of Harry’s passions included hunting and fishing at his family’s cabin in Carrabelle.
He is survived by his daughter, Sherrie (David) Woodard, two granddaughters, Stephanie (Michael) Wilcox, Jamie (Chris) Pass, grandson, Brian (Kristin) Bell and three great grandchildren, his former wife, Sandra Smith, daughter-in-law, Dawn Bell and step granddaughter, Courtney Garcia.
