Hazel I. Minshew, 89, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Paul Dziadul officiating.
Hazel was born in Asheville, North Carolina to the late Dorsey and Ora May Lunsford. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Howard Minshew, great grandson, Scooter, two brothers, Lloyd Lunsford and Richard Lunsford, three sisters, Betty A. Stewart, Billie Andrews, and Helen Riddle. Hazel retired from Keebler Company after thirty years of service. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her children, Roger Pearson of Centerville, Michael Pearson of Macon, grandchildren, Chad (Alicia) Pearson and Corey (Jessica) Pearson, great grandchildren, Easton and McKenzie, and several nieces and nephews and her bird, Peaches.
