Helen “Betty” Morgan, 88, died Saturday, November 14, 2015. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Noon at First Christian Church, 2306 Vineville Avenue in Macon with the Reverend Will Johnson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Entombment will be in the Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum. She was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Ella Wiggins Marlowe and Valburn McKeeven Marlowe. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, James Curtis Morgan, Sr.; sons, Bob Morgan and Jim Morgan. She graduated with honors from Miller High School in 1944 and was retired from C & S Bank after 30 years of service.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Laura (Tadd) Ryan, Alicia (Marek) Szramel, Curt (Katy) Morgan, Kyle Morgan and Molly Morgan; several great grandchildren; two daughters-in-law; Angie (Dick) Holcombe and Nancy Morgan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
