Helen Brown Scott, 90, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Snow’s at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with Rev. Stephen Scarborough officiating. The family will greet friends at the funeral home an hour and a half prior to the service.
Helen, known to many as Helen Marion, was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Charlie and Helen Brown. As a young woman she worked at her parents' business, Charlie Brown Dairy Farm. She also worked with her dear friend, Marian Hicks, at Ballard B lunch room. Later in life she worked as a medical records clerk at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Helen was a lifelong resident of Macon and was a member of Living Waters Church. Helen was extremely proud of her garden and spent many hours cooking for her family and friends.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, William Earl Scott.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter and son in law, Beth Scott Harbin and Keith Harbin of Jefferson, Georgia, a son and daughter in law, Brown Scott and Stephanie Scott of Macon, 4 grandchildren, Ben and Kristen (Aaron) Harrison and Gabrielle Scott and Hannah Tedders. A sister-in-law, Geraldine Pike and her husband; Lawrence Pike of Greensboro, North Carolina. First cousin, Tom Johnson(Edwina) of Atlanta, Ga.
