Herby was born in Macon, Georgia to the late W.T. and Margaret Newberry Tucker. He was employed with The Floor Guy. He enjoyed the outdoors and being with his family.
He is survived by his siblings, Robert (Marie) Tucker, Janice (Todd) Fitzgibbons, Kay (Scott) Ball, Bobby (Sylvia) Tucker; companion, Dee Houser and her daughter, Amanda Dillion; several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
