Jane Patat Owens, 63, passed away on April 3, 2018. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Reverend Clay Bowden and Pastor Trey Dickerson officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:00 AM until service time at the church. The family suggests that donations be made to Love Guatemala, 401 E. Michigan Street, Indpls, IN 46204 or to the donor’s favorite charity.
Mrs. Owens was born in Macon, Georgia to Sue Patat and to the late James Prince Patat, Jr. She was the Executive Assistant to the President at Beasley Hardwood Flooring and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Mrs. Owens was a graduate of Southwest High School. Jane was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and sister.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Owens; daughters, Lisa Holton (Drexel), Julie Owens (Seth); mother, Sue Patat; grandchildren, Owen and Bryson Holton, Ethan Lord; brothers, Steve Patat (Deborah), Jim Patat (Debbie).
