Joseph Paul Howdeshell, age 22, of Macon, Georgia passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023. A celebration of his life will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Faith Tabernacle, 416 Main St. Byron, Ga, at noon with Rev. David Yancey, Rev. Jason Watkins, and Rev. Tim Hayton officiating. The family will greet friends beginning at 11:00 am until service time. Interment will follow the service at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery, 3969 Mercer University Dr. Macon, Ga 31204.
Joseph was born in Marion, VA to Rebekah and Jodi Howdeshell. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being in nature. However, his greatest love was his family, Miranda and David. He was a beloved father, son, uncle, and brother.
Joseph is survived by his parents, Rebekah and Jodi Howdeshell; fiancée, Miranda Benson; son, David Colton Howdeshell; siblings, Rachel Howdeshell, Sarah Sparks, Anna Howdeshell, Josiah Howdeshell, Abigail Howdeshell, and Seth Howdeshell; niece, Sadie and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Joseph is preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Beulah Hayton and Marilyn Gary and Danny Ollis.
