Joyce Ayers Underwood, 81, passed away Friday, December 06, 2013. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Bob Dilks will officiate. Burial will be private in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends beginning at 1:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home and asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
Mrs. Underwood was born in Haleyville, AL the daughter of the late Erba L. and Shirley Hyde Ayers. She was retired from Keebler Company and was of the Baptist Faith.
Mrs. Underwood is survived by her children, Kaye Harrell (Richard) of Macon, Tommy Hudgins (Dena) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Greg Bearden, Chris Bearden, and Jeremy Hudgins; brother, Erba L. Ayers, Jr. of Macon; several nieces and nephews.
