Julia P. Watlington, 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 11, 2018. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Forest Baptist Church. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Morgan Kerr and Rev. John Marc Cooling officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the church. Julia was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Joseph and Mae Page. She was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Watlington and her son, Stanley E. Wilson. Julia was a retired educator serving as a teacher, administrator and Educational Consultant for RESA, Regional Educational Service Agency. She was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church and was the Sunday School teacher for the Rebekah Joy Class for many years, up until a few weeks ago. Julia was loving and a devoted Christian mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters, Tricia W. Cooling (John), and Cindi W. Murphy, grandchildren, John Marc Cooling (Amanda), Brian Murphy (Cathy), Matt Cooling, Rachel Williams (Josh) and nine great grandchildren.
