Anne Slocumb Comer, 85, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024 surrounded by her family. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Terry Wolstencroft officiating. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to service time.
Anne was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Howell Roy and Marie Folsom Slocumb. She was a member of Southside Church of Christ. Anne was an avid shopper with a sharp eye for fashion. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and cousin.
She is survived by her husband, Glen Comer of Gray, sons, Stanley (Cheryl) Comer, Keith (Melissa) Comer, grandchildren, Kevin (Stephanie) Comer, Jessica (Devin) Kimbrough, five great grandchildren, Travis Story Jr., Alana Comer, Taylor Story, Kamren Comer, Braelynn Waits, and a cousin, Janice Simmons Cummings.
