Mrs. Dover was born in Macon, Georgia to the late James and Melta Dixon Shelton. She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Walker, and a brother, Cecil Shelton. Mrs. Dover was a sewing machine operator for Transact and was a member of Worship and Praise Church of God. She enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Lawrence Dover; daughter, Misty Ryan (BJ Statham); son, Ashley Dover; grandchildren, Shelton Dover, Austin Dover, Samara Dover, Olivia Statham, Mason Statham, Stetson Barnes, and Christopher Sheppherd; brother, Dean Shelton; sisters, Ann Crutchfield and Faye Brunson; a much loved nephew, Ronald Shelton; and many nieces and nephews.
