Linda M. Fincher, age 75, of Macon, Georgia passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021. A private graveside service for family to Celebrate Her Life will be held on Sunday, August 29, at 11 o'clock in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery, for family only, led by Rev. Joe McDaniel. Services will be recorded and posted on Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home's Facebook Page. Those attending are reminded of social distancing practices and the use of face coverings. Those who wish are encouraged to make memorial contributions to their local no-kill animal shelter. A register book will be available to sign and those who wish may visit the funeral home at their leisure, beginning Friday morning.
Linda was born in Dublin, Georgia on December 30, 1945 to the late Harvel T. and Letha M. Mimbs. She attended Margaret McEvoy High School and went on to earn her cosmetology license. One of her greatest loves was her animals, who have crossed the rainbow bridge, Prissy, BiBi, Brandy, Chloe, Steinway, Mona, Gidget. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lamar Fincher, former owner of J&L Supermarket in Macon.
Left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Eddie Mimbs (Sandy), Karen Martin, and Michael Mimbs (Paula); her beloved Mi-Ki, Jazzy; nine very special nieces and nephews, with a host of extended family and close friends.
