To the memory of my brother by another mother.

Thinking of you today my dear friend and how much I miss you and wish I could pick up the phone and call you. The kids are growing up and as recent as this past weekend I was sharing some of your wisdom with them when we were all together in Orlando for the oldest daughter Giffords birthday celebration.

This morning without remembering this was the day you passed away on my friend, I was looking at an experimental air craft website and was thinking about the time we did soft field taxiing in Tom Osborne's ultralight on the grass strip I broke one of landing struts wires and we fixed it then you broke both of them and bellied plane out and spent the rest of the afternoon fixing it...good memories and I miss you and think of you often...until Valhalla my friend.

Although I never had a chance to know you. For some reason you married my exwife and died on my birthday. I find that strange. Perhaps we will meet some day my frien. RIP 

Malav and I studied together from Std 1 and later became good friends. We shared many talks of our growing days, visited each other’s home, saw movies, played together during holidays and so on. Malav was @ 5 wks younger to me and we celebrated his birthdays.  We later lost contact but our childhood bonds are very strong. 

Mridulaben’s cousin sister is my aunt Sarlaben. So she knew me  well as Malav’s friend and nephew of Sarlaben. 

Last I spoke to Malav was @ 2000, mostly before Neely’s birth. I called him while I was in US. Mridulaben then answered the phone and I spoke for long with her. Later I spoke to Malav and we caught up ......... I am yet to come out that it was my last talk with a good friend .........

Our prayers are with the family for ETERNAL PEACE FOR THE DEPARTED SOUL. 

Deepest condolences to the bereaved family. Self had studied with Malav at M.G. Science Institute - Ahemedabad together. Malav was intelligent and was a joy to be . Ever remember his infectious smile...

I have tears in my eyes as I write this. I was absolutely stunned and heart broken to hear the news about Malav. We were classmates in middle school, high school and 2 years of science college. We shared a common passion: Physics, Space sciences and Solar Energy. We met regularly at Vikram Sarabhai Community Science Center for lectures and discussions. He stayed with Physics. I moved on to Engineering and Solar Energy.  For grad school, he came to Georgia, I came to Colorado and then Texas. We kept in touch. We attended each others weddings. When we visited him in Macon, my twins became very fond of Neely.  I only wish I had the opportunity to play a role in his personal life. Rest in peace MY OLD BUDDY !

Malav was one of the best Physics professors at Middle Georgia State University. He had a gift for explaining difficult concepts and problems and the students loved him. He took great pride in the students' accomplishments and was a source of encouragement to all of them. Malav's sense of humor was lovely, he always had a twinkle in his eye and he was a delight to work with. We will miss him deeply in the Department of Natural Sciences.

Malav was the most caring , loving parent to his daughter , Neely ,when she was a piano student of mine . He came to every lesson , knew what she had practiced during the week , and sat right beside her in lessons . He was demanding , but gentle ,wanting only the best for his daughter 
         I’m so truly glad to have known him ! His brilliance carried over into music , as well as so many academic areas

I knew Malav as a teacher, friend, and colleague. In all cases, he was quick with a smile, a laugh, and encouragement when needed. I will miss this wonderful human being that I had the pleasure of knowing.

Deepest condolences on the loss of a vibrant human

Malav, our friendship was based on vibrations. - musical vibrations. You went on to study physical properties while I explored artistic. We got busy in our own worlds and lost touch. Then suddenly out of the blue you called about 3 years ago.  We talked about blues and we talked about sessions and guitars and singing and what not... and we also talked about our favorite singer Mr Jagjit Singh. What a coincidence, you decided to leave this physical world on the date of Mr Singh’s death anniversary. Missing you terribly Yaar!! The sound of your strumming will never leave this heart. Good bye my friend!!!

I worked with Malav at SAIC for a couple years. Since then I moved away from Georgia but stayed in touch with him from time to time. He was interesting  to talk to and compare perspectives on life and football. I enjoyed his sense of humor and intelligent opinions.

Malav is close child hood buddy of my son Malay. I will miss him rest of my life.  May God bless him. UMA-Devendra. Ahmedabad. India 

I enjoyed going to Atlanta Falcon games with Malav.  Such a big fan, regardless of the score he never left the game until it was over.  A brilliant guy, he was always generous helping me with computers and technology too.  Goodbye old friend!
