Maria Hinson Ussery, 78, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery, McRae, GA with Rev. Jason Dickerson officiating. The family will greet friends on Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Breast Cancer Foundation, 10400 Little Patuxent Parkway, Suite 480, Columbia MD 21044.
Maria was born in McRae, GA to the late Paul J. and Matty Sue Hinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daris Richard Ussery and her brother, Jack Hinson. She was retired as a property manager over several apartments in Macon. Maria was a member of the Moose Club and she loved to travel, go to the beach and her pets. She was a devoted and loving mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Dennis (Loraine) Ussery of Macon, Richard Ussery of Macon, Kristie Ussery (Brian Jones) of Warner Robins, grandchildren, Trey Glover of Macon, Ryan (Rachel) Ussery of Newnan, Jacob Ussery (Claire Williamson) of Marietta, and Austin Mueller of Macon.
