Mark Edward Flanagan, 49, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2011. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Joe McDaniel officiating. The family will greet friends on Thursday, January 6, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to service time at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Mr. Flanagan was born in Macon, Georgia to the late David E. Flanagan. He served in the United States Army and was a member of Mabel White Baptist Church. Mr. Flanagan was employed with Groom Transportation and Elite Charters Inc. as a limo driver.
He is survived by his wife of twenty six years, Sue Flanagan of Macon, mother, Joyce C. Flanagan of Macon, three brothers, Joey Flanagan of Macon, Rick (Cissy) Flanagan of Macon, James (Beverly) Flanagan of Virginia, and sister, Glenda F. Tucker of Macon, a niece, Debbie and a nephew, Mark.
