

Macon- Mildred “Pat” Cooper Archebelle, 92 of Macon, GA died on Friday, May 4th at Peake Healthcare Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, May 7, 2012 in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Dr. Tim Bagwell and Rev. Helen Willoughby officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday from 1:00 till service time. Those who wish may make memorial contributions in her memory to: Missions Fund at Centenary Methodist Church, 1185 Ash Street, Macon, Georgia 31201.
Mrs. Archebelle was born on June 6th, 1919 in Sandersville, GA to the late Ida Mays Cooper and Arthur W. Cooper. She was the widow of William “Bill” Archebelle, to whom she had been married for 42 years. Mildred Archebelle was a member of Centenary Methodist Church for many years and was very proud of all the ministries of her church. She is retired from Allied Chemical where she worked as tool inspector. She is remembered by all those who know and love her as a strong, loving, giving, honest, humorous, wise lady who loved the Lord, her family, her church and life. She was preceded in death by her daughter Cherie Andrews.
Mr. and Mrs. Archebelle were blessed with 6 children: Glenn (Gayle) Archebelle, Jack (Sandra) Archebelle, Gail (Earl) Griner, Bruce (Tommie) Archebelle, Mike (Christine) Archebelle and son-in-law: Gene Andrews. She leaves 15 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. She is also survived by 1 brother Robert “Bobby” Cooper and by many nieces and nephews.
