Rob was born on September 29, 1962 in Jupiter, FL to Robert “Bob” Morrissey and Connie Tremblay Sanders.
After high school, he joined the U.S. Air Force and honorably served 22 years with integrity, loyalty and bravery, serving at numerous Air Force bases stateside and overseas to include Afghanistan and Desert Storm. He proudly served as a brother in the 554th RED HORSE Squadron. Throughout his military career he received several awards and medals for his exemplary and outstanding service, duty and dedication.
Rob was a loving father, grandpa, son, brother and uncle. His happiest moments were spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also loved to fish, was an avid Miami Dolphins fan and of Catholic faith.
He was predeceased in death by his father, Robert “Bob” Morrissey, his step- father, James Sanders and step- brother, Carl Beach.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Jennifer Morrissey (Bradley), his loving son, Ace “AJ” Morrissey (Rachel), grandchildren Alleigh Wade, Heather and Peyton Benson, his children’s mother, Jerri Morrissey, mother, Connie Sanders, sister, Deborah Miller, brothers, Dan and Scott Morrissey, step- sister, Cathy Morrissey, step-mother, Bonnie Morrissey, his very best friend and military brother, Stacy Ballew, his fur-baby, Luke and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at 11 am, at Macon Memorial Funeral Home, 3969 Mercer University Drive, Macon, Georgia. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, February 17,2022, at Macon Memorial Funeral Home.
