Nell Cofield Creswell

Nell Cofield Creswell, 90, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, August 19, 2015. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Bishop Tim Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10:00am until service time at the funeral home. Flowers are appreciated or those who wish may make donations to The Children’s Hospital, 888 Pine St., Macon, 31201.

Nell was born in Laurens County, Georgia to the late Homer and Ellen Roland Cofield and was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Creswell, daughter, Barbara Osterman and brother, Alton Cofield. She was a homemaker and attended Gateway Fellowship Church of God. Nell volunteered with the March of Dimes for many years, and also enjoyed cooking, working in her yard and playing the piano and guitar. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.

Survivors include her children, Jean (Donnie) Potts, Stanley (Patricia) Kelly, Randy Creswell, Colleen (Dean) Jump and Danny N. Creswell Sr.; step-sons, Terry and Rusty Creswell and their spouses; grandchildren, Leigh Ann Bryant, Tony Kelly, Laurie Stone, Lisa Lunsford, Danny Neal Creswell, Jr., Lindsey Jump and Ashley Barajas; five great grandchildren; brother, Broadus Cofield; and other extended family.
