Paul Leslie “Pinky” Kaylor, Jr., 77, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Monday, January 2, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Greg Loskoski officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
Paul was born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania to the late Paul L. and Anna Collins Kaylor. He was a proud veteran who served during Vietnam in 1968 to 1969 and later attended Clayton State University and Georgia State University. He retired Norfolk Southern Corp. as Manager, Communications Engineering, in Atlanta, Georgia. Paul was a member of American Legion, and a Benefactor of the National Rifle Association. He also loved hunting, fishing, and boating with his grandsons.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Janie Sue James Kaylor; sons; Chan L. Kaylor (Cleo Keller), and Shea James Kaylor; grandchildren; John L. “Jack” Kaylor and Peter Ryan “Pete” Kaylor; great-grandson, Sabin “Buddy” Proffitt; sister-in-law, Patricia Carter; and niece, Nona Bush.
