Ralph E. Pannell

Ralph E. Pannell, 82, of Macon, died Friday in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 PM in the Mausoleum Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. The Rev. Ron Watson will officiate. The family suggests that donations be made to Morningside Baptist Church, 3519 Jeffersonville Road, Macon, Georgia 31211 or to United Hospice, 6060 Lakeside Commons, Macon, Georgia 31210. The family will greet friends from 4 until 6 PM Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. Pannell was born in Sylacauga, Alabama to the late Arthur F. Pannell and the late Elma Jones Pannell. He is retired from the U. S. Air Force after 20 years service attaining the rank of Senior Master Sargent and was also retired from Robins Air Force Base as an electronics technician with 10 years of service. Mr. Pannell was a member of Morningside Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his daughter Karen A. Pannell.

Mr. Pannell, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather is survived by his wife; Yvonne B. Pannell of Macon, 5 sons, Mike A. Pannell of Virginia, Neil R. (Karen) Pannell of Titusville, FL., Mike R. Pannell of Locust Grove, GA, Steve (Sheryle) Pannell of Pensacola, FL, Robin (Janine) Pannell of Palm Coast Florida, his grandchildren, Chris Pannell, Nick Pannell Lindsay Pannell, Ashley Pannell, Chasey Pannell Ryan Pannell, Taylor Pannell and Hannah Pannell and a great grandchild.
