Ray Marvin Moore, 85, passed away Friday, December 27, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be private for family only in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Chris Minton will officiate. The family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 AM the morning of the funeral service.
Mr. Moore was born in Dublin, Georgia the son of the late R. M. and Clara Hamlin Moore. He was the widower of Mary Morgan Moore and was preceded in death by a son, Tyrone Moore. Mr. Moore was retired as an electronics inspector from RAFB and was a United States World War II Navy veteran. He was a former coach of several sports at Redding School in Lizella.
Mr. Moore is survived by his daughter, Patti (Jimmy) Stevens; son, Timmy Moore; grandchildren, Casey, Summer, and Dylan Moore; great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Cameron Moore.
