Rena "Mama Dello" Sidella Taylor Wilkinson

Rena Sidella Taylor Wilkinson “Mama Dello” passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 26th, 2022 at the age of 93. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 9th, 2022, at 4 PM in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Dziadul officiating.

Ms. Wilkinson was predeceased by her brothers; E. Dan Taylor, IV and Kenneth Taylor; and sister, Betty Taylor Smith.

Mama Dello was born in Cocoa Beach, Florida to Elbert Daniel Taylor, III and Serena Boone Taylor on February 10, 1929. She was a talented artist who enjoyed painting, drawing, and photography. She lived life to the fullest and never allowed her age or health to slow down her travels and adventures. As a registered nurse, she was passionate about her patients receiving the best care possible and retired after many years of dedication to the Georgia State Board of Workers’ Compensation. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Advent Health Hospice of Altamonte Springs for their compassionate care.

Mama Dello is survived by her three sons; Russell Wilkinson (Melissa) of Orlando, FL, Richard Wilkinson of Warner Robins, GA and William Wilkinson (Melanie) of Byron, GA; and daughter, Teresa (Jimmy) Jones of Byron, GA; fourteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
