Robert and I were playing golf with Steve and Patrick about 20 years ago and as usual we were losing badly.  Halfway through the round a black cloud come over the course.  It was plain to see it would be a quick shower but Patrick stopped the cart and quickly got out.  I asked Robert what was going on.  He just laughed and said Patrick's just got new golf rain gear and he can't wait to try it out.  Sure enough as soon as Patrick changed into his new attire the rain stopped and the sun came out.  The look on Patrick's face made Robert laugh even harder.    I believe Robert and I both triple bogeyed that hole but we didn't care and both laughed are way through the rest of the round.

Steve and Vickie, Tom and I are so sorry to hear of Roberts passing. Thinking and praying for y’all and your family.

My love, my life, and my soulmate. I miss and love you so much. I'm truly lost without you.

Robert and Patrick and our sons, Will and Luke, became young buddies at birth. The memories that we have of these four boys goes on and on. We swam at LWW pool back in the good  ole days and spent hours at Oakhaven Golf Course, in the pool and on the golf course. We also enjoyed many happy times with them at Union Elementary and Sonny Carter Elementary and in Cub Scouts. The list goes on and on! Steve and Vickie and Patrick , we will forever cherish our memories of the times we spent together and pray that God will sustain you through these difficult days.

Worked with Robert we became close friends we were like brothers you seen him I was not far behind him we aways get into so crazy things love you man it will never be the same without you will aways be in the heart buddy till we meet again party up in the clouds I got memories that will last forever to lake days u throwing me off tube to me pulling boat back with the jet ski at tobo miss you like crazy man love ya 

Robert and our son David were good childhood friends. They often played for hours at our house in Lake Wildwood.  John and I are so sorry for this loss and we send our love and support to his family. Unfortunately we will be out of town and must miss his celebration of life but we will think of all of the Burgamys and say a prayer for Robert. 

I pray for the family at the loss of such a great man. I met Robert a few years ago at a friend's house and he instantly fit in with all of us. We had a new family member all of our boys loved him. We all went to lake Sinclair for July 4th. Robert brought the boat we all went fishing and tubing, and watched fireworks. We have so many memories that we will carry with us.
