Ronald Keith Michael

Ronald Keith Michael, 61, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2013, surrounded by family and friends. A Celebration of his Life will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. James Corbitt and Rev. Charles Poole will officiate. The family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 the morning of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Bethany Baptist Church, Building Fund, P O Box 539, Bolingbroke, GA 31004.

Ron was born in Millington, TN on October 24, 1952, but grew up and raised his family in Macon. He was a graduate of Lanier High School in Macon and Mississippi State University. Ron retired from IKON Office Solutions as Director of Logistics. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Bolingbroke. Ron’s favorite hobby was restoring classic automobiles, and his greatest love was his family, especially his six grandsons. On most Saturdays, Ron could be found with friends and family in the garage, at the racetrack, or at Nu-Way.

He is survived by his wife of forty years, Rhonda Poole Michael; children, Kimberly Michael Mcleod (Chris) and Matthew Jackson Michael (Kim); grandsons, Mack, Ben, Sam, Garner, Riley, and Harper; parents, R. D. and Ann Jackson Michael; brothers, James (Julie), Garry (Beverly), and Victor (Shaye); maternal grandmother, Lois Gatlin; several nieces & nephews.
