Roseitta Booth Varner, 82, passed away on June 15, 2021. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, June 18, 2021 in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be private in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Varner was a devoted Christian lady, who never met a stranger and always had a smile, a kind word and an infectious personality. Being with and taking care of family was her greatest joy. Later in life, her proudest accomplishments were in her role as an activities director for the elderly. Mrs. Varner was a member of Elam Baptist Church in Gray, GA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse & Dot Booth; her brother, Jepp Booth; and her daughter and grandson, Laurie and Hunter Smith.
She is survived by her loving husband, Harold Varner; brother, Kenny Booth (Brenda); son, Marvin Stevens (Donna); daughter, Ja’Nisa Mimbs; three step-children, Cheryl Comer (Stanley), Rick Varner (Samantha) and Michael Varner (Sharon); 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.
