Rosia Marie Bush, 93, died November 22, 2016 at Gray Health and Rehabilitation in Gray, Georgia. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with her grandson, Mike Newsome officiating. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00pm until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations are made to your favorite charity.
Mrs. Bush was born in Telfair County, Georgia to the late Joseph and Alice Williams and lived in Macon most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Bush; sons, Bill Bush and Paul Bush; daughter, Alice Newsome; sisters, Jewel Brown and Hazel Stoner; and grandson, Gary Newsome.
Mrs. Bush was Owner and Operator of Southland Barber and Beauty Supply. She was a member of Eastern Star and served as Grand Matron. She was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Carol Bush; son-in-law, Bill Newsome; sister, Eloise Sutton; grandsons, Mike (Dawn) Newsome and Bill Bush, Jr.; eight great grandchildren, Kale Newsome, Matt Newsome, Taylor Newsome, Alexia Newsome, Olivia Newsome, John Newsome, Chancelor Newsome, and Kristen (Justin) Baugh.
