The funeral service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Hamlin officiating. Entombment will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Givens was born in Columbus, GA to the late J.T. Givens and Minnie Myrl Ray Givens. He retired from Reeves Construction Company where he hauled heavy equipment. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his loving wife, Vivian Meadows Givens; a brother, James T. Givens (Jeanie); a sister, Faye Mullikin (Bill); and several nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday from 5 PM until 7 PM at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210.
