

AMERICUS – Ruth V. Clements, 93, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Pine Pointe Hospice Facility. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 23, 2011 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Joseph Allen will officiate. The family will meet friends from 10 a.m. to service time on Thursday at the funeral home. They suggest that those who wish make memorial contributions to Magnolia Manor, 2001 S. Lee Street, Americus 31709 or to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31220.
Mrs. Clements, wife of the late George Woodrow Clements, was born in Hazlehurst the daughter of the late Thomas Young Keene and Sallie Thomas Keene and was preceded in death by four sisters and a brother. She was a member of Soperton Baptist Church and had worked at Maxon Electronics. Mrs. Clements was devoted to her family whom she loved dearly.
Survivors include her children, George W. (Lenora) Clements, Carolyn (Kay) Murphy and Ted (Judy) Clements, all of Warner Robins; her grandchildren, Julie Clements Epps, Shelia Broom, LeWanna Patterson, Curt Clements and Jason Clements; twelve great grandchildren, Crystal Jackson, Chandler Epps, Cameron Epps, Robby Britt, Shelley Tatum, Crissy Britt, Tanner Clements, Casey Clements, Carley Clements, Riley Clements, Presley Clements and Zoe Clements, great great grandchildren, Skyler Jackson, Payton Jackson, Makayla Britt, Derick Tatum, Kaylee Britt and Kelsey Britt and numerous nieces and nephews.
