Sarah Virginia Chapman Wilson Reese, 96 of Macon, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 10, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Snows at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Ed Chambless and Reverend Alan Parker will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation on Sunday, February 9, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. till 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Born in Monticello, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Charles Caywood Chapman and Mary Elizabeth Stewart Chapman. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Roy Wilson Sr., Melvin Neal Reese and a son, James Roy Wilson Jr.
Mrs. Reese was a member of Mikado Baptist Church and attended Sunday school and was a member of the GYP Senior Saints Ministry.
She is survived by her children, Michele Wilson Smith (Curtis) and George Keith Wilson; grandchildren, Jamey Wilson (Holli), Joshua Wilson(Devon), Clayton Smith (Joanna Clark); and Ryan Smith(Jorgia); three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews,
