Mr. Thelston Henry Heath, 52, died Tuesday morning, April 28, 2015, at his home, with family by his side. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 2 at 2 o’clock in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Chet Cooper will officiate. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, May 1, from 6 until 8 o’clock, or may be contacted at the residence of Patricia Miller.
Mr. Heath was born in Macon to Eugene Talmadge Heath and the late Annie Ruth Strickland Heath. He was the owner and operator of Heath and Associates sweeping truck company, and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Heath was preceded in death by his mother, and a daughter, Julia Heath.
Surviving Mr. Heath are his children, Jessica (Eric) Yowell, Julian Heath, Tasha (Tommy) Bryant; father, Eugene Heath; 2 grandchildren; 3 step daughters; a step son; brothers, David (Robin) Heath, James Heath; sisters, Brenda (Ken) Harnist; Patricia Miller; and lifelong friends Chuck and Lynn Jones.
