Ty E. Moore

Ty Moore, 57, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at a local hospital. Funeral services and a celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Lizella United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Loran Smith and the Rev. Johnny Stevens officiating. The family will meet friends on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Lizella United Methodist Church, 2920 South Lizella Road, Lizella GA 31052.

Mr. Moore was born in Macon, GA to Ray M. and the late Mary Morgan Moore. Ty was a graduate of Southwest High School and was an active member of Lizella United Methodist Church. He was employed with Blue Bird Body Co. for over thirty years as a Quality Andon Inspector. He was an umpire with USSSA for over twenty years traveling all over the United States. Ty was an avid deer hunter, fisherman, and sports fan. He was a devoted and loving, son, husband, father, grandfather and brother.

He is survived by his wife of thirty seven years, Connie P. Moore of Lizella, son, Casey Dray Moore (Dana Summerday) of Macon, daughter, Summer Danielle Moore (Joey Parton) of Lizella, grandchildren, Cameron and Aubrey Moore, Amber Summerday and Ashley Patton, father, Ray M. Moore of Macon, brother, Timothy Moore of Dry Branch, sister, Patti (Jimmy) Stevens of Dry Branch, father and mother-in-laws, Doug and Carol Parker of Lizella, sister-in-laws, Kim (Brad) DeFore of Lizella, Candy (Donny) Johns of East Point, FL and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
