Willie Dee received her formal education in the Bibb County Public School System and graduated from Hudson Sr. High School in Macon, Georgia. Willie Dee was the youngest of thirteen children. She is preceded in death by all of her sisters and brothers. She attended Stinsonville Baptist Church during her early childhood which was the family church. At the age of 17, she gave her life to God. Willie Dee became saved and filled with God's anointing. Many souls were saved through her ministry. At that time she was with Mother Mamie Hazzard's Ministry on Canton Street. The Lord anointed her to be a great evangelist and a great songstress; through her singing many souls were saved.
She met Overseer Jimmie D. Webb under the great gospel tent service in Unionville where she and Evangelist Hattie Finney were evangelizing. Many people came to Christ where some became teachers, ministers, pastors, etc. God's Holy Ghost power filled many people. After Willie Dee and Jimmie D. Webb met it wasn't very long before they were united in Holy Matrimony on December 17, 1959. They were a devoted and happily married couple for 53 years. The Lord blessed this union with one daughter, Janice Bernice Webb, and one grandson, Dominique Jadon Webb whom they loved very much. She was a homemaker and served as a substitute teacher for many years for the Bibb County Board of Education.
Willie Dee later moved her membership to Bell's Temple under the leadership of Bishop L. M. Bell where she served in many capacities. Bishop Bell assigned her to pastor in Covington, Georgia at the Greater Sandhill A.O. H. Church of God. She pastored there for 14 years before coming back to Macon to help her husband fulfill his vision. Her husband, Overseer Jimmie D. Webb began his ministry and she was there to help every step of the way until the Lord called him home on November 3rd, 2012. She served in many capacities at Westside A.O.H. Church of God. She also served as State Missionary for the 16th District of Georgia, Youth Director, Sunday School Teacher, Superintendent of Sunday School, President of the Prayer Band or wherever she was needed. She was the Assistant Pastor of Westside for many years before she retired from pastoring. As a servant of God, she fulfilled her commitment faithfully.
Willie Dee Lacey Webb will be fondly remembered and her legacy will be continued by her daughter, Janice Bernice Webb Citizen; and grandson, Dominique
