Zandra Elaine Hubble-Key

Zandra R. Hubble-Key, 76, of Eastman, Georgia, was a follower of Christ, a loving mother, a savvy businesswoman, and a loyal friend and family member to all who knew her. She was incredibly selfless and kind; she poured her heart into everything she did.

She was happily married to Lonnie O. Key, Sr. for 22 years until his passing in 2012. In the years they shared, Zandra and Lonnie were active in their church and community. They loved to travel and spend time with friends. Zandra’s greatest joy was raising her daughter, Dell, whom she loved fiercely and unconditionally. In 2018, Zandra was overjoyed to welcome her only grandchild, Jackson.

Zandra, a graduate of Mercer University, was deeply active in her church. She lived her faith through kindness, generosity, and quiet strength—remaining devoted until her health declined due to an extended illness.

She will be remembered for her warmth, her wit, her fierce love for her family, and her unshakable strength. Her legacy lives on in all who were lucky enough to know and love her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lonnie O. Key, Sr.; her father, Herman Ryner; her mother, Verlie Harrelson; her sisters, Earlwana Young, Linda Coursey, and Verona Horton; and her brother, E.H. Ryner

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Dell Parten; her cherished grandson, Jackson Parten; her sisters, Sylvia Thomas and Idonia Moore; and many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the incredible caregivers who cared for Zandra with such patience, dignity, and love. You became part of our family, and we are forever grateful.

A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Stephen Upchurch officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
