Frederick L. Pearson Jr.

Frederick L. Pearson Jr., 86, of Lynn, passed away at the Life Care Center on December 27, 2012. Born in Newbury, MA, he was the son of the late Frederick L. and Margaret (Rogers) Pearson. He was the husband of Lucy M. (Williams) Pearson, they were married on October 6, 1966 at the Maple Street Methodist Church, Lynn, MA.

Fred was a cook for six years in the U.S. Navy during WWII and served as Past VFW Post Commander in Byfield after his discharge. He worked at the General Electric Company in Lynn for a brief period and was a laundry caretaker at the Danvers State Hospital for many years until his retirement.

He was a long time communicant of Broadway Methodist Church, and later a part-time caretaker at the Maple Street Methodist Church. Fred and Lucy enjoyed many years of camping in their trailer at the Salisbury Beach Trailer Park.

He is survived by his wife Lucy M. Pearson of Lynn; and loved and cared for by the William and Jane Booras family for over twenty five years. He was also the brother of the late Marion, Helen, and Joanne.

A private graveside service with honors was held in Pine Grove Cemetery. Arrangements by the Eustis and Cornell Funeral Home, Marblehead.
