Jean Miller Landreth

Jean (Miller) Landreth, 85, of Marblehead, formerly of San Jose and Santa Cruz, CA died of cancer on Jan 9, 2013. She was the wife of 62 years of The Rev. Robert Landreth, mother of Artha Gerland and her husband Thomas of Marblehead, Leslie Cimino and her husband Carl of Campbell, CA, Julia Medland and her husband Thomas of Roseville, CA, and Gerald Landreth of Antioch, CA. Also survived by twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Jean was born in Tacoma WA, and grew up in Santa Cruz CA. She attended San Jose State Univ. Jean was a homemaker and raised her family in San Jose where she was active in St. Francis and Holy Spirit Episcopal churches, The San Jose Auxiliary to Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford, PEO, and numerous other civic groups. In 1997, she and her husband moved to Marblehead where she made many friends and was active in St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, PEO, and the Democratic Town Committee.

Services for Jean will be held at St. Michael’s Church, 26 Pleasant St. Marblehead on Sat, Jan 19th at 11AM.
