Phyllis W. Fader

MARBLEHEAD - Phyllis W. Fader, age 83, of Marblehead, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024. Born in Marblehead, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Mabel (Fisher) Younger. She was the loving mother of Lisa W. Leboeuf and her husband, Tom and Alison W. Broughton and her husband, Rick of Marblehead; the cherished grandmother of Nicholas Glover Broughton, Emma C.W. Broughton and Sampson T.A. Broughton; the great-grandmother of Andrew Adams and Miles Broughton; and the dear sister of the late Paul Younger. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Phyllis was raised and educated in Marblehead and graduated from Marblehead High School with the class of 1958. She raised her family in Marblehead and worked for many years in the Town Assessor's Office. After her retirement she nannied for several Marblehead families where she formed many strong and lasting relationships.

Phyllis enjoyed reading, gardening and caring for her many dogs and cats over the years. As a lifelong Header she loved walking around town especially in the Shipyard District catching up on local happenings with her friends and neighbors.

Phyllis' funeral service will be held at the Dr. Arland A.
