Robert Eldridge Morse

Bob was born in Marblehead on May 2, 1931, and lived in his family’s Marblehead home until his recent move to assisted living in Peabody. He graduated from Marblehead High School and Northeastern University and was employed as an auditor for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army after serving for 3 years.

Bob spent his vacations following United States Figure Skating events all over the world. His second passion was his impressive library on world and ancient history. He was well read and loved to discuss historical and current events.

Bob was also predeceased by his dear Aunt and Uncle, Betty and Earl Reynolds. He is survived by many cousins.

At Bob’s request, there will be no funeral services. Donations may be made in his memory to the Abbot Public Library Fund, 235 Pleasant Street, Marblehead, MA 01945. Arrangements by the Eustis and Cornell Funeral Home, Marblehead.
